The most important decisions are not about what you do — they’re about what you decide not to do.”

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you guarantee funding or investment if I work with you?

No — and anyone who does, you should probably run from. I’ll help you build a compelling pitch, get investor-ready, and identify the right types of funding, but the decision to invest always rests with investors. I can’t and won’t guarantee or endorse your company to any funding source.

Are you a qualified financial, legal, or tax advisor?

No. I offer strategic business advice and execution support, but I’m not a licensed financial, legal, or tax professional. Any financial models, insights, or resources I provide should be used for planning and discussion purposes only. For regulated or formal decisions, please consult a qualified advisor.

Can I book a one-off session, or do I need to commit long term?

Absolutely. One-off strategy sessions are available if you need focused feedback, validation, or a sounding board. If you need deeper support, we can set up a custom project or monthly retainer — it’s flexible and tailored to your stage.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes. I work with founders around the world. Whether you're based in Ireland, the UK, or further afield, we can connect remotely via Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, or Notion — and in-person if you're local.

Do you build MVPs or digital tools for clients?

Yes — I can assist in building early prototypes, websites, and no-code applications to help bring your idea to life. Whether you're testing a concept, preparing for a funding round, or looking to show progress to stakeholders, I can help you develop lean, functional versions of your product quickly — without the need for a full development team.

How do you work with clients day-to-day?

I work closely with founders as a flexible, embedded partner — not just a consultant who checks in once a month. We collaborate through tools like Zoom, Slack, Notion, and shared drives to stay aligned and move fast. Depending on your needs, I support you through strategy sessions, deliverables, regular check-ins, and real-time input when things get busy or urgent. It’s structured, responsive, and designed to keep momentum going.

I have an idea but don’t know where to start — can you help?

Absolutely — and you’re already halfway there by being here.

Whether it’s just a rough concept or something you’ve been thinking about for a while, I can help you shape it into something real: from validating your idea to building a clear plan, defining next steps, and identifying what you’ll need to launch.

In some cases, where I see real potential and strong alignment, I may even come on board as a Co-founder — working alongside you for a meaningful equity stake, no upfront cash required.

Every relationship is different, and these opportunities are selective — but if you’re ready to take your idea seriously, reach out and let’s see if we’re a good fit.

I’m a startup founder, just starting out, with limited budget — can we work together?

Yes — I understand that many startups are bootstrapping or pre-funding and may not have the budget for professional services upfront.

Where I see strong potential, founder commitment, and alignment, I’m open to flexible arrangements — including sweat equity or hybrid models — typically in exchange for a smaller equity stake.

These opportunities are selective, based on your business, your vision, and whether I can add real value.

If your company shows promise and you’re serious about growth, reach out — I’d love to explore whether we’re a good fit.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes — I’m happy to sign a mutual NDA if needed. That said, I treat every conversation with full discretion and professional respect. Your ideas are your own, and I protect them as such.

Is this a training course or a fixed programme?

No. VentureEdge does not deliver off-the-shelf courses.

Each programme is designed around the organisation, the people you support, and the decisions they are facing. The structure is consistent, but the content and emphasis are adapted to context — whether that’s young people exploring entrepreneurship, early-stage founders, or participants navigating risk and uncertainty.

The goal is not to teach a syllabus, but to improve decision quality before commitment.
